Welcome to the IBC New England Support Group web site

What is IBC?

Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) is a somewhat rare and often very aggressive form of breast cancer, accounting for one to four percent of all breast cancers diagnoses.

We invite you to review the information provided here and to contact the support group if you do have IBC. This web page is provided as a way to disseminate information about IBC, which is not very well known by the public or even by some health professionals. As with any rare disease, lack of knowledge is our worst enemy.

If you suspect you may have IBC, or any form of breast cancer, see your physician immediately.

For more about IBC, including symptoms, what do do, and current treatments, select the page link, More About IBC, at the top of this page.
